Category Management Specialist
General Summary:
Reports to the Director of Category Management
The Category Management Specialist position will develop and maintain planograms across all product categories for use by GHRA member stores using computerized space planning software to maximize overall space to sales.
Primary Responsibility:
This role will support our members with two critical functions. The first is to leverage our internal plan-o-gram tool to maximize sales and profit through offering the optimal product mix, as determined by category managers. Secondly, you will manage a smaller revenue DSD category and assume P&L ownership of assigned categories and analytical support for the Category Management team.
The Planogram Analyst will participate in annual category reviews with the category managers by providing analytical insights and supporting merchandising standards. This role will also be responsible for the publication of the planograms to the category managers and members. Long term, the Planogram Analyst will partner with the Market Sales Manager to address store-specific needs.
Essential Functions:
- Communicate and work directly with the category managers and suppliers to create and maintain planograms for all product categories
- Utilize computerized space planning software, according to merchandising and planogram standards
- Efficiently optimize sales performance
- Provide Category Review data from pertinent sources
- Maintain communication with all category managers to stay on track according to the planogram refresh calendar
- Manage planogram calendar, monitor project progress, resolve issues to ensure deadlines are met
- Manage and optimize the replacement and discontinued item process
- Oversee the marketing, merchandising, promotion, planning, and communication of the respective items in an assigned category or categories that drive the profit and loss statements for stores.

Van Delivery Driver
General Summary:
The Van Delivery Driver/Driver Helper position will be responsible for transporting grocery deliveries and hotshot deliveries utilizing a cargo van. When there are no grocery orders or hotshot deliveries the employee will work as a promo driver, or driver helper for the transportation department. This position is also expected to transition into a route driver position after successfully demonstrating the correct attitude and aptitude for the position.
Primary Responsibility:
The Van Grocery Driver/ Driver Helper position will deliver promotional product within GHRA delivery zones, and ride as a driver helper on other occasion. They will be responsible for efficiently and safely delivering product to our members. They are expected to maintain their company vehicle in proper working condition and maintain a safe driver record. When working as a driver helper they are expected to assist and learn the entire delivery process from the driver.
Van Delivery Driver/ driver helper requirements:
- Report to dispatch at required start times.
- Do a pre-trip of van.
- Log into route tablet.
- Check paperwork matches route in tablet and the product.
- Log on duty in tablet.
- Load product in van.
- Arrive and depart each stop at the required times.

• Reports damages and discrepancies to the supervisor
• Co-coordinating work functions with the sales team and other departments

Qualifications
Experience and Skills:
• 2-3 years’ experience working with scanners and in a large distribution company
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to effectively manage time, meet targets and work in a team
• In compliance with the food and safety regulations
Educational Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged walking and standing for 8 continuous hours including but not limited to a concrete or tile surface
• Product replenishing which includes frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, balancing, pushing and pulling
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Cashier
General Summary:
Reports to Front End Supervisor
Accurately process sales and payments for goods/services and provide receipts to customers.
Primary Responsibility:
Ensures accurate scanning of all items being purchased. Responsible for handling all payments and transactions correctly. Accountable for accurately balancing cash tray daily.
Essential Functions:
- Greets and acknowledges each customer
- Assists customers where possible
- Provides answers to product and payment-related queries
- Refers customers to the right person to answer queries and deal with any problems
- Process payments according to company procedure
- Issues receipts for payments received
- Accurately calculates discounts and special offers
- Stays up to date on all promotions and special offers
- Balances sales and receipts according to company procedure
- Maintains accurate records of transactions
- Maybe required to assist in other areas such as shelf stocking, product display, pricing and clean-up
Qualifications
Experience and Skills:
- Ability to complete assigned shifts
- Desire to grow in job, good judgment, adaptability, and organized
- Basic mathematical knowledge
- Some experience dealing with money preferable
Educational Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
- May be standing or sitting for extend period of times
- Some days of prolonged walking
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
